Pot of Gold Papercraft

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and I’ve been busy setting up a couple of easy crafts to do with the girls. In addition to trying our hands at St. Patrick’s Day Cocoa bombs, we love doing paper crafts. That’s why I created this easy pot of gold papercraft for St. Patrick’s Day.

Fast Homeschool Crafts

Newsflash: You don’t need to be a “crafty” mom to be a great homeschool mom. And many moms who don’t think they’re crafty shy away from including any arts and crafts in a homeschool routine.

Maybe you’re concerned about the time it takes to set up. And clean up.

Or maybe you don’t have space in your homeschool room for a bunch of arts and crafts supplies. Or you don’t like the mess and clutter that go along with it.

And that’s okay. However, if you have even one kitchen or desk drawer free, consider adding some 15-minute paper crafts or toilet paper crafts to your week.

Seriously, it’s easy to find a few St. Patrick’s Day crafts for your homeschool. You likely have most of the supplies you’ll need already. And if you don’t, Amazon can deliver it today or tomorrow.

Step 2

Grab the largest rainbow layer and your glue and paste the 2nd largest rainbow layer on the largest one. Align each layer along their straight sides.

Step 4

Prepare a piece of paper for the background.

Glue the paper rainbow pattern on the middle of the background paper; you could place the rainbow near the top side of the paper to keep space for the pot on the bottom side of the paper.

Step 5

Attach the small craft foam pieces on the backside of the cloud patterns.

Glue the large cloud on a side of the rainbow, near the bottom end. Stick the small cloud on the top of the large cloud. Use a sharpie to trace outline on the pot cutout.

Step 6

Paste the pot cutout on the bottom side of the rainbow pattern. Keep the slit part free from glue.

Step 7

Insert golden glitter coins inside the pot through the slit. And paste one or two shamrock cutouts onto the papercraft.

And that’s it! Now if you do this craft on heavy cardstock, it makes a fun St. Patrick’s Day card. Or simply give it a place of honor on your fridge or homeschool bulletin board.
